IW Radio reported this morning that former council leader Andy Sutton was last Friday suspended from the Conservative Party.
They go on tell us that papers from a meeting held last Friday state, “the executive council decided to suspend Andy’s membership of the Conservative Party, pending full consideration of this matter at a special meeting on Monday 8th March”.
Readers will remember that the former leader is currently on a six month suspension from the Council following his involvement with the Craven Court investigation.
