Anne Frank Exhibition at Brading Roman VillaBrading Roman Villa will be hosting a new exhibition next month with a collection from the Anne Frank Trust.

The ‘Anne Frank: A History for Today’ exhibition captures the experience of Anne Frank’s life, the rise of the Nazi party, the history of the Second World War and the consequences of the Holocaust.

By placing complex historical events against the backdrop of the life of one young person, the exhibition enables visitors to gain a greater understanding of the human consequences of persecution and war.

The exhibition challenges us to consider the contemporary relevance of these issues and leads the visitor to a greater understanding of the steps that we can all take as individuals to prevent the rise of prejudice and discrimination in our own communities.

Anne Frank exhibitions have been visited by over 2.8 million people from across Britain.

This unique experience for Islanders to learn more about the story of Anne Frank and the history of the Holocaust is hosted as part of Brading Roman Villa’s award-winning education and community programme.
