Bembridge Parish Council has been awarded Quality Status under the Local Council Award Scheme, one of only 21 Town/Parish councils to be accredited out of 10,000 nationally.
The panel was particularly impressed by the high standard of our Website and the range of information available to visitors.
Members felt that this went beyond the basic requirements of the Quality Status and wished to commend the Council for creating such a valuable community asset.
The Council have been encouraged to consider going for Gold Status in the future.
