At the end of last week, Hannah Kirk, who recently produced a short film with Island-based Blake Samson got in touch.
Blake, a professional mountain bike rider, was the perfect person to show off his skills in Hannah’s short film intended to promote the Mercedes Vito Sport van.
The Island looks amazing in the footage and shows off not only its beauty, but also the variety of active sports you can get up to when visiting.
What was intended as a promo for a car company, doubles up as a great piece of promo for our tourist industry.
One to watch
Originally from Zimbabwe but now living on the Island, Blake is well worth following if you’re into active sports. He’s competed around the world with the likes of the Martyn Ashton (another pro filmed on the Island) and as he’s only in his 20s, is someone we’re sure we’ll be seeing more of.
