Update: The Ventnor Country Market now takes place at the Baptist Church in Pier Street.
Yesterday morning saw the first Ventnor Country Market take place at the Ventnor Community Cafe in Albert Street Baptist Church on Pier Street.
Linda Chester from the Ventnor Business Association did the honours of cutting the ribbon, with Penny Betts, Chairman of Ventnor Country Market holding the ribbon.
Lots on offer
A fantastic selection of cakes, savouries, bread, jams and preserves, honey, plants, produce and crafts were all on sale with refreshments available from the cafe.
The market was a great success and organisers are looking forward to next week’s event.
The Ventnor Country Market takes place every Thursday morning between 9.30am to 12.30pm.
