Gerard Harris returns to Ventnor Fringe with two comedy shows

Writer, comedian and storyteller extraordinaire, Gerard Harris, returns to Ventnor Fringe Festival next week.

Last performing in Ventnor in 2019, Gerard will be bringing two shows in 2021.

A Tension To Detail
Taking place at the Parkside Playhouse, A Tension To Detail is a long-running, multi-award winning storytelling comedy performed over 120 times in five countries.

Gerard explains,

“It’s equal parts philosophical, psychological and scatological about all the stupidest things I’ve ever done and the lessons I didn’t learn along the way.

“More to the point, it’s about the stories we tell ourselves and each other instead of, oh you know, what actually happened. It’s also the prequel to Attention Seeker, a show about being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 40, which I brought to the Fringe in 2019.

“These are more stories which should have clued me in (but didn’t because I was too distracted to notice).”

W*nk In Progress
Gerard’s other show is the X-rated W*nk In Progress (a play on the term ‘work in progress’ for shows still be finalised before heading to Edinburgh).

He says,

“It’s exactly what it says on the tube of lube: a brand new standup show featuring all the best, silliest and filthiest jokes I’ve ever written.

“Chickens, Nazis and my wife all feature heavily.”

Not surprisingly this is an 18+ event.
