Musicians, bands, dancers and drama groups with an age range of between 11 – 21 are invited to take part in a free music and entertainment event being organised by the Isle of Wight Youth Council.
The ‘Rock The Island Talent Show’ will be held at Medina Theatre on Friday 11 March between 7 – 9:30pm.
Plenty of prizes on offer
Prizes are on offer to participants and the event is being sponsored by Newport Parish Council.
Solo artists, duos, bands, drama students and dancers are all encouraged to register by going to the IW Youth Council’s 2010 Facebook page.
It is hoped the event will promote positive images of young people both to their peers and the wider community.
