With BBC’s Masterchef in full flow and the Great Island Bake-Off almost upon us, we reckon the foodies amongst you must be on overdrive.
If you are, then an event organised for 2nd and 3rd November should be right up your street.
Sarah Guy from At Sarah’s House will be hosting two, one-day events featuring the undisputed queen of stress-free cooking, Mary Berry.
Mary will be presenting her ‘New Ideas for Christmas’ AGA and conventional cookery demonstration.
Voted third favourite chef for most reliable recipes, behind Jamie Oliver and Delia Smith no less, you can sure that whatever Mary shares with you during the demonstration will work.
She’s not into nouvelle cuisine, but healthy practical recipes. Imagine Cordon Bleu standard but with less work.
The queen of the AGA
Mary’s AGA workshops have been featured in The Sunday Telegraph, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Times among others and The Mail on Sunday YOU Magazine said: “Mary Berry is to AGA what Pavarotti is to opera!”
But you don’t need to have an AGA to get something out of the event. Mary’s cookery tips and advice work for all forms of cooking and she’ll be parting some excellent ideas for Christmas cooking at the beginning of next month.
What to expect
Fresh coffee and pastries will be waiting for you when you arrive and Mary will be present her cookery demonstration throughout the morning.
There’ll be a light lunch served with the opportunity to get your cookery books signed (there’ll be plenty on offer to purchase) and chat with Mary afterwards.
Ticket for the day are £85. A pretty good price, considering everything that’s included.
All you need to do is give Sarah a call on 01983 852089
Don’t forget to say where you heard about it.
Many thanks to the Sarah for supporting VB by paying for this feature
