The Isle of Wight council have launched a six week consultation on future plans for secondary school provision in Sandown, floating a possible partnership with the Governing Body of The Bay CE Primary School.
Dr Tracy Melvin, an Associate Professor at the Southampton University Optoelectronics Research Centre, will be giving the final talk of the season before the summer break. The talk takes place from 7pm on Monday 12th June.
Crew from Shanklin Sandown Rowing club made the best of a bad situation on Saturday after being told when they were half way across the Solent that the regatta they were heading to had been cancelled.
