Mayor of Yarmouth, Steve Cowley, says Island Roads failed to plan work adequately and did not consult with the local community. He's concerned other villages and towns across the Island might suffer as a result of similar failures.
The Cow Co will be joined by local tribute band, Something from Nothing, next Thursday for their Shindig Shenanigans. The band will be busting out acoustic covers of the greatest hits from rock legends, The Foo Fighters. Free to attend but worth booking your table in advance.
A ‘modest financial contribution’ would be made towards off-site affordable housing and a strip of land available for the West Wight Greenway (cycle track)
Gather your friends and make a date in the diary for the first The Summer Shindig of the season at Tapnell Farm next Thursday. Ease into the weekend with great food, music and an awesome sunset.
Island Roads pick out a number of the lines of the report published earlier in the week, disputing some, explaining further the situation on others and apologising on some.
As well as the usual great food and drink, the last Summer Shindig at Tapnell Farm sees stilt-walkers, a close-up magician and fire eaters for the ultimate thrill and visual spectacle! Book now to eat the restaurant on the night.
