Isle of Wight makes top three holiday hotspots list for Easter breaks

A travel destination Website has placed the Isle of Wight in the top three of holiday hotspots this Easter.

Big Travel 7, working with global comparison site EnjoyTravel.com have released a list of 15 UK destinations – and the Island sits proudly at number three, ahead of Dorset, Brighton and the Cotswolds.

Based on special Easter events and the average cost of stay and family-friendly activities, only London and Glasgow were placed higher than the UK’s favourite holiday island.

Will Myles, MD at Visit Isle of Wight said,

“The Isle of Wight has a host of incredible attractions offering a range of activities and some fantastic accommodation for families, so we’re not surprised to be placed this high in the Big Travel 7 top ten this Easter.

“Visit Isle of Wight continues to work with our partners here on the Island to reach as many people with our marketing messages.”
