Long time readers might remember way back in March last year that VB was involved in the early days of the Isle of Wight Tweet Up.
After several tweet-ups (which if you’ve never heard of it is an event that people who use Twitter [what’s that?] meet socially), other things got in the way for us and we weren’t able to go along for a while.
As far as we’re aware there haven’t been any regular tweet-ups for some time, but that’s about to change.
We hear that Matt and Cat have taken the bull by the horns and are hoping to reinvigorate the Tweet-ups.
If you’re a Island tweeter and have always wondered who is behind some of the unusual usernames on the Island Twitter scene, why not arrange to meet them at the re-invigorated IW Tweet-Up.
It starts again tomorrow evening, meeting in the Quay Arts Cafe from 6pm.
Of course with the bar open until 8pm, you’ll be able whet you whistle on a glass of wine or pint of ale, so why not bring some friends too.
