Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen makes visit to Botanic Garden whilst filming ‘Outrageous Homes’ series

Interior designer and TV personality, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, has been on the Isle of Wight this week.

He’s filming for a new four-part series called an episode of Outrageous Homes with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

Meeting home owners who value originality
In each hour long episode he’ll meet people from across the country who value originality and decorate their homes without fear. Laurence will also meet some of the architects, designers and decorators who helped bring the bold and creative visions to life.

We can think of a few homes that fit into that category on the Island so it’ll be interesting to see what pops up when the series airs later in the year.

Visit to the Botanic Garden
Whilst filming nearby, Laurence made a visit to Ventnor Botanic Garden, where he posed for of photo with with Head Chef, Michael.

We’re not sure whether Laurence toured the Garden or just sampled the food, but hopefully he had a great time.

Llewelyn-Bowen: I’ll be the most understated thing on screen
About the new series, Laurence said,

“At last, a property show that turns its back on Delusions of Blandeur and instead celebrates homes that take OTT to another level of fabulous.

“In fact, we’ll be filming in spaces of such outrageousness I’ll be the most understated thing on screen which is, let’s face it, an extraordinary achievement…”

The series of four hour-long episodes will be aired on Channel 4 later this year.
