This morning saw the launch a new Isle of Wight community radio station, Wight Island Radio.
A seven day schedule from 7am-10pm (11pm on Saturday) will be filled with music and chat from Dave Hollidge, Jessica Toyne, James Thompson, Kat Young, ‘Paul’, Marc Lebone, Fifi Holley and Rhian Teasdale.
Former Isle of Wight Radio and Wight FM news-reader Justin Gladdis is heading up the news team. As yet no local news showing on the Website, just a feed from Sky News.
Broadcasting online only, they join Vectis Radio, who launched in January 2010.
