Scottish tenorist Tommy Whittle, one of the mainstream modernists in the jazz world, will be performing at Quay Arts this coming week.
One of the busiest veteran jazzmen, Tommy Whittle has played alongside the likes of Benny Goodman and John Dankworth, as well running his own big band.
This week he’ll be supported by the Island’s very own Phoenix Trio. Sounds like a great combination.
Tickets for the event are priced at £10 / *£9 (Friends/members concession) and the cafe will be serving a special menu from 6.30pm, giving you the opportunity to make an evening of it and not have to worry about cooking (or the washing up!).
