There have been several trees down across the Island today. One fell on Bouldnor Road, Yarmouth and another on Burnt House Lane, Newport. Both were removed swiftly by Island Roads, but there is a whooper currently blocking Middle Road.
The IOW Roads Policing unit tweeted a pic and details a short while ago.
Middle Rd closed between Calbourne and Blacksmiths Arms due to fallen tree. Will be closed approx 2 hrs pic.twitter.com/VBZykVK5Lm
