The subject of widespread library closures was covered last night on BBC2’s Newsnight programme.
It featured a piece with writer Alan Bennett, who is campaigning to save Kensal Green library in North London and was followed by a studio discussion with author Tim Lott and Mark Littlewood of the Institute of Economic Affairs.
Both put forward their arguments for and against library closures. The feature starts at 26 minutes into the programme.
