The Environment Agency say flooding is possible for the coast around the Isle of Wight on Friday 3rd February 2017 and advise residents to be prepared.
River levels at Alverstone will continue to rise, and are likely to peak late morning or early afternoon. Updates also includes alert for Monktonmead in Ryde, Cowes and Gurnard Luck.
Minor impact flooding is expected in some parts of the Eastern Yar, but with dry weather now until Thursday, it should give the river a chance to recover
