Carlauren Group

The Carlauren Group owned the Auckland House Hotel on the Isle of Wight and had spent several years promising to develop the Ocean Hotel and Kings House in Sandown when it went into administration.

Administrators were appointed with a remit to investigate the disappearance of more than £50m of investors’ money. There have been five police investigations into the company, with three arrests made in March 2024.
