Isle of Wight council leader, Dave Stewart, says he believes the Coronavirus Contact Tracing App piloting on the Island “is an amazing opportunity”, and one he knows residents “will join with me in embracing”
Dave Stewart is Conservative county councillor for Niton and Whitwell.
He is also Group leader of the Isle of Wight Conservative councillors.
On 18th January 2017, Cllr Stewart was elected as Leader of the Isle of Wight council, following the resignation of Jonathan Bacon (Island Independents).
He was leader of the Isle of Wight council from 2017 to 2021, when he lost his seat to Green Party councillor, Claire Critchley.
