The fall in numbers at the sister school in Southampton has resulted in its closure at the end of term, but it won't affect the isle of Wight Studio School assures the head teacher.
The Isle of Wight Studio School was founded in East Cowes in 2014. In April 2018 Inspire Academy Trust announced plans to close the school because there were “too few students choosing to study in Years 12 and 13”.
Parents, pupils and even the head teacher fought back.
