If you're out and about on the roads this month you'll notice roadwork schemes have intensified as Island Roads aims to finish as many schemes as possible before the summer holidays.
The survey which is due to close on Friday 1st March invites the public to rate Island Roads’ performance on many aspects of its work from road surfacing and maintenance to street cleansing, verge and grass cutting and its customer service operations.
This team of highly qualified staff work with foreign governments and business leaders across Asia, Europe and USA and have been involved in many significant and wide-ranging projects.
The milder winter meant Island Roads only needed to carry out 23 gritting runs compared to 35 the winter before, but as it was also very wet, there was still much to keep the team busy.
Following OnTheWight'sreport last week on the two year anniversary of the Undercliff Drive landslide, Island Roads set out their plans for reinstating the access road for the landlocked residents.
