On World Suicide Prevention day, SPIIOW are sending out a call to arms for help in raising much-needed funds to help continue their work in suicide prevention on the Isle of Wight
Supporting those in crisis, with training and preventative work across the Island, Suicide Prevention and Intervention IOW (SPIIOW) have been presented with a High Sheriff’s Award
Have you got anything you can donate to this charity auction? It takes takes place later this month and organised by Solent Autopoint to support Suicide Prevention & Intervention IOW charity
SPIIOW say the training will enable team members to respond slightly faster in a controlled way, but that they are not the Coastguard and if you see someone in trouble along the cliff edge you should call 999
The group have stepped up their patrols and are ready to help anyone in need, but would be grateful for support from Islanders too and have put out a call for donations
