National Anti-Bullying Week: Time to reflect

It’s National Anti-Bullying Week.

Bullying is unacceptable behaviour not only in schools, but also places of work, leisure and particularly at home.

Bullying can have a lifelong effect on those being targeted, destroying their self confidence, ability to achieve, health and in the most tragic of cases, can even lead to suicide.

The official Anti-Bullying Week Website is running a competition for young people (finishes 14th December) with £100s of prizes.

Take a moment to reflect
In this video below, poet Benjamin Zephaniah encourages us all to take a moment to reflect on our behaviour and question the consequences of it.

He admits to once being a bully himself, but to also be on the other end of bullying.
