Students at Cowes Enterprise College have received their A Level results today, with many going on to attend some of the country’s top universities, including Oxford.
The Head Master said this year marks the end of a period of significant change at A-Level which makes many of these achievements, the combined work of pupils and staff, the more impressive.
Staff and teachers at the Academy have worked extremely hard to make sure that the grading for every student is fair and allows these students to go onto university, an apprenticeship or employment
The Principal of Ryde Academy said, "Our overall feeling is one of huge relief that these incredible young people have the opportunity to progress on to amazing futures and to achieve their dreams"
Despite their most successful year yet for A-level and AS level results, the Isle of Wight College will be phasing out A-Levels and concentrating on vocational courses from September 2015.
