Skydiving for Daddy’s ‘Little Girl Fund’: Still time to donate

So with less than a week to go until the 10,000ft Skydive, in aid of Daddy’s Little Girl Fund, the jumpers are all getting extremely nervous.

There are five of us that will be jumping from the original list of 17 who had shown interest earlier in the year. With a fundraising gross total of £3150.00 raised so far donations will still be able to made for this jump until the end of the year.

Donations can be made via the main GoFundMe page with the word JUMP as a reference or via individuals fundraising pages that can be found on social media.

Taking part in the jump
The jumpers are as follows;

  • Jacky Gregory (Mother). Jacky is a line manager/cook out at The Three Bishops Pub in Brighstone. She absolutely hates heights and is very worried about the jump but she is a very determined person so I’m sure she will get the jump done albeit screaming o all the way down and with tears at the end.
  • Connor Gregory (Brother). Connor is Lewis’s older brother by 5 years and is a Sales Manager at Pittis Estate Agents. In his own words, heights make him feel very uneasy and he is not looking forward to the jump but like his mother, he is very determined and I’m sure will get the job done, most likely with a huge smile on his face on landing and wanting to go and do it all over again!
  • Ian Gregory (Dad). Ian run’s his own well known business on the Island, Alltrades IW. Ian also is not a great fan of heights and knows the biggest obstacle will be not having a bowel movement when leaving the aircraft. This event for Ian is one of his six ‘Dad’s Mad Cap Events’ of 2022 he has signed up for to raise money over the whole year and as such must be completed to then complete the whole challenge for the year.
  • Stacey Cottier (friend). Stacey is the manager of The Three Bishops Pub in Brighstone and was a friend to Lewis. Stacey signed up late for the skydive but is just as determined to complete the jump and I’m sure she too will have a big smile on her face on landing.
  • Bryn Turner (friend). Bryn is a team manager for Southern Gas Networks and was a friend to Lewis via The Castle Inn, it’s his fault we are all doing a skydive! It was his initial suggestion that put us all in this position, so Bryn can wait until last to jump as this mad man has done it before!

Showing support
There will be lots of family and friends turning up at the airport to support us all on the day including Esme herself and her mother and partner of Lewis, Tash.

We are all looking forward to getting this skydive done and dusted so we have our fingers crossed that the weather plays ball and we don’t have to delay the jump to another day.

All money raised will be placed into trust for Esme until she comes of age to give her the start in life that her father, Lewis would have done if he was still with us.
