Not for the faint-hearted, the Lunar Hex marked a zombie apocalypse last Saturday night in Ryde. Survivors were treated to an evening of Gorelesque Burlesque, live music, spoken word, drag and lots of glitter.
Young Islanders - aged eight and 15 - wowed the judges at 2017 IFDPA (International Federation of Dance and Performing Arts) competition in Disneyland and came away with some great results. Well done!
The launch event of the 2017 Ryde Arts Festival features the private view of an exhibition, a performance from dancer, Sophie Wintersgill, alongside live music from a string quartet, as well as the re-creation of the ‘Smashing Performance’ shown at the Saatchi Gallery by Sue Pareskeva.

The Ventnor Fringe Festival is undoubtedly one of our favourite festivals of the year. Set in a wide variety of unusual venues across this creative and quirky town there are 70 shows to choose from this year. Providing something for everyone!
The new dates will ensure that Ventnor Fringe Festival does not clash with any other festivals taking place at the same time and will mean that performers going to Edinburgh can preview their shows on the Island beforehand.
