Wightfibre sign up to sponsor enhanced business news coverage

With the arrival of this new year, we’re really pleased to announce a new development for On The Wight – our first section sponsor.

Please welcome Wightfibre, who have come on-board at On The Wight as the sponsor of the Business section. Through their support, you’ll be able to read an increased number of articles about Isle of Wight businesses.

Wightfibre branding on every business article
Alongside every story in the Business section (eg Capitol Furniture reach 183 years of trading), you’ll see the Wightfibre logo just to the right-hand side of the article reminding you that, through their financial support of On The Wight, Wightfibre are enabling you to learn more about Island businesses, for free.

We’ve worked hard to make sure the sponsorship works both for the company sponsoring and the reader. The logo is placed in a position that cannot be missed by our tens of thousands of readers, but without being over-dominant.

Company description in the Business session too
When the reader visits the Business section using the tab at the top of every page of the site, they’ll find the same logo and this brief overview of Wightfibre’s business.

Wightfibre is the Island’s very own fibre optic network providing phones and high speed broadband to businesses throughout the Isle of Wight. It is the only telecom service on the Island that does not use BT lines. Why pay more?

Their data centre and support staff are in Cowes so any questions can be quickly resolved, with local, Island knowledge. Call 01983 30 00 00 to speak directly to one of their business advisors.

Send in your Island business story
If you know of an Isle of Wight business that has a good news story that you think the Island would like to know about – perhaps you/they’ve received an award, won a new large order, or are expanding – get in touch with us on [email protected] with the details.

Support Wightfibre
Support On The Wight by clicking on the logo and going over to the Wightfibre Website and check out what they’re offering – both to home users and to Island businesses – they are, after all, helping you read the news here, for free!
