One of the newest White-tailed Eagles to be released on the Isle of Wight has popped off to France
In August 2019 three pairs of juvenile White-Tailed Eagles (Sea Eagles) were released on the Isle of Wight, as part of a programme to restore this lost species to the South of the UK.
In summer 2020, seven more were released. In 2021 another 12 were released on the Island.
In 2024 another eight were released on the Island.
