The gasification plant was to be refurbed as part of a 25 year, £225m waste contract with Amey. After the sub-contractor went out of business an alternative had to be found. OnTheWight has the details.
Cllr Michael Murwill was elected as Isle of Wight ward councillor for Brading, St Helens and Bembridge in the May 2017 council elections.
He was appointed as Cabinet member for Procurement, Projects and Forward Planning and oversaw changes at Lynnbottom Tip in 2018.
