Michael Murwill

Cllr Michael Murwill was elected as Isle of Wight ward councillor for Brading, St Helens and Bembridge in the May 2017 council elections.

He was appointed as Cabinet member for Procurement, Projects and Forward Planning and oversaw changes at Lynnbottom Tip in 2018.

In August 2020, Cllr Murwill, left the Island Conservatives, choosing to remain in his role for the duration of the term as an Independent councillor.
