Ryde Arena

Planet Ice took on the lease for Ryde Arena in February 2001. It is home to many ice hockey teams, figures skating and more.

In February 2015 Planet Ice announced the venue would be closed on 25th March. A campaign was quickly launched to save the venue.

Cllr Wayne Whittle gave 300+ Islanders - who have been campaigning to save the Ryde Arena ice rink - some positive news on Saturday. He said the Isle of Wight council was "going to go legal" and that "it's starting next week". Many others also added their own words.
