Island Roads will be undertaking essential resurfacing work on Rowborough Lane in Brading this week.
The work will improve a section from its junction with Carpenters Road towards the Railway Bridge.
When will the work take place?
Work is scheduled to take place on 12th, 13th and 14th May 2026.
It will be necessary to close the road between 9am and 4pm, but the road will re-open under traffic lights outside of the work hours.
What does Island Roads say?
An Island Roads spokesperson said,
“We recognise that these works may cause some inconvenience for residents and businesses but those who use the road will know improvement work is necessary and we hope any disruption will be offset by the long-term improvements we are making.
“We would like to thank you in advance for your assistance in enabling us to complete these works.”
