Island Roads say that in order to keep transport hubs accessible they will be starting work as late as 11.30pm during the esplanade resurfacing works taking place in May.

It's that time of year again. Four wheels which are integral to the bridge’s opening and closing mechanism will be replaced as part of the annual maintenance.
Eligible applicants include charities, community interest companies, voluntary and community group who are encouraged to apply for foundations grants of between £3,000 and £16,000.
These women will be running two marathons within two weeks this spring to raise money and awareness for the Wessex Cancer Trust. Island Roads will be supporting them too.
