Islanders learn about dairy farming at Open Farm Sunday

Around 80 Islanders booked onto the tours of Briddlesford Lodge Farm yesterday to discover the ins and outs of dairy farming.

In a week when a national survey revealed that some primary school pupils in the UK thought cheese comes from plants and a quarter of those surveyed believe fish sticks are made from chicken or pigs, Open Farm Sunday couldn't come at a better time.
