A free event will celebrate the launch of the first Brave Island Zine at Ventnor Exchange this Saturday (31st January 2026).
The new publication spotlights the diverse creativity of young people living on the Isle of Wight.
The zine offers young Islanders an opportunity to share their voice and views on any topic.
Now or Never theme
The first edition carries the theme ‘Now or Never’. This reflects new year and new beginnings, or relates to a call to action or a big decision.
The launch event at Brave Island HQ (Ventnor Exchange, 11 Church Street, Ventnor PO38 1SW) runs from 7pm to 9.30pm.
Quarterly publication
Brave Island will release the zine quarterly throughout 2026.
The publication provides young people with a platform to share their views, ideas and creativity.
