If you were planning to go along to the Historic Ryde Society’s open meeting tonight don’t forget the change of venue.
The Society usually hold their meetings at Ryde Castle, but following the tragic fire last month they obviously won’t be using that as a venue for some time.
Instead head to The Blacksheep Bar in Union Street where you can hear Tony Gale give an illustrated lecture on ‘Ryde Election Riots’.
Kicks off at 7pm. Raffle and refreshments. Free for members, small charge for visitors. All welcome.
