Get covered in every colour of the Age UK Isle of Wight rainbow at return of the Powder Run

This coming Saturday (25th) pop along to Porchfield Cricket Club for an afternoon of family fun in aid of Age UK Isle of Wight.

Starting from 2pm the charity’s annual Powder Run – Get covered in every colour of the Age UK Isle of Wight rainbow as you make your way around their 2K traditional backyard obstacle course.

Family Fun Day
Running alongside The Powder Run will be a Family Fun Day. Local obedience group ‘Barking Mad’ host dog agility display and a fun dog show.

They offer many fun-filled categories such as ‘Handsomest Mutt’, ‘Best bad hair day’, ‘Dog who looks most like its owner’ and a crowd favourite ‘Waggiest tail’.

There will also be vintage fun fair amusements, activity stalls, a bar, BBQ, Ice Cream, Island sweet dreams and cakes from Calbourne Classics.

The fun day is free entry and offers fun for the whole family, Parking is also free but can get very busy, so please carpool if you are able to.

Every pre-registered participant gets a free rainbow pack and medal of completion. Entry to The Powder Run is £10 for Adults, £5 for Children (14 or under) and small additional sponsorship is welcomed.

Fun at the Powder Run

On the day signs ups are accepted from 3pm. Every penny raised stays on the Island and will help Age UK Isle of Wight to support our older Island residents.
