Almost £600,000 handed out
Almost £600,000 has been given to eligible groups since the foundation was established, funding important projects including new minibuses, computers and tablets, community gardens, sports equipment, refurbishing buildings and providing training opportunities.

Groups have until midday on 2nd May to submit their completed applications for the latest round of funding.

Gillespie: First step is for the groups to make an application
IW Foundation chairman Rob Gillespie said,

“Since 2014, we’ve been able to support scores of groups in their efforts to make a real positive difference to the lives of a great many people on the Island.

“But the first step is for the groups to make an application. We’d be delighted to hear from any organisation who has a project that could benefit from IW Foundation funding and they still have time to make an application.”

The partners making up the IW Foundation are Ringway Island Roads, Meridiam, Island Roads Services and Vinci Concessions.

Full eligibility criteria and details of the application process can be found in the Isle of Wight Foundation section of the Island Roads Website.
