Thanks to Amy Beushaw for this photo (sent to us on Christmas Eve) of the recent landslide on the cliff path between Woody Bay and Binnel Bay. Amy said the path had gone in three places.
It’s not the only place to see the impact of the recent heavy rain, Island Roads have just announced,
There has been a landslip on the steps from Cliff Path Road to Sandown Parade, we will be closing these steps until further notice.

Thanks to Dan Kozakewycz for this pic below of the road closure due to the landslide in Lake. He says that five or six houses now have no driveway access.
As advised by the Environment Agency, residents are encouraged to avoid walking along cliff paths during this stormy period.
