Boris Johnson and the Downing Street garden

Letter: The only person that believed the rules were followed was the Prime Minster

OnTheWight always welcomes a Letter to the Editor to share with our readers – unsurprisingly they don’t always reflect the views of this publication. If you have something you’d like to share, get in touch and of course, your considered comments are welcome below.

This Open Letter to Isle of Wight Conservative MP, Bob Seely, from a reader known to OnTheWight who has asked to remain anonymous. Ed

Good Morning Bob

I find myself writing to your once again. I wish to demonstrate against Boris Johnson’s behaviour during the Pandemic.

I believe the Prime Minister has mislead Parliament and deceived us on the parties in Downing Street. The only person that believed the rules were followed was the Prime Minster.

He has not personal to my knowledge apologised to the Queen personally.

He clapped for the NHS whilst the Parties took place.

Civil Servants, if working, are not entitled to have alcohol at work parties. Civil servants are not allowed to bring their partners to meetings.

Lack of control
It also shows the lack of control that the PM has on his staff.

People’s relatives have died while No.10 and Boris enjoyed himself.

Waiting for a enquiry to finish before a decision is made is ridiculous as he has been found out.

Call it out
I also believe anyone that does not call these issues out are as bad as the perpetrator.

I have also copied in the Speaker of the House, as you have frustratingly failed to previously respond to letters that have been sent by myself to you.

Earlier in the week, News OnTheWight asked Bob Seely, “Do you still support Boris Johnson as Prime Minister?” He didn’t say yes, but here’s what he did reply. Ed
