Local author creates book in aid of Foodbank

Local resident and volunteer at the Ventnor branch of Isle of Wight foodbank, Michael Acton, has recently put together a collection of short stories.

Mike tells us that all proceeds from the book, entitled, ‘Gems A selection of stories by Michael Acton’ will go to Isle of Wight foodbank.

The stories are from an anthology ‘The Elvis Teapot and Other Tales’ written by Michael and published in 2009.
