Private Peaceful
Private Peaceful tells the story of two brothers, Tommo and Charlie, whose tough rural childhood, framed by the loss of their father, forges an irrevocable sibling loyalty. Until one day they both fall for the same girl. And then the Great War comes.

The 18-year-old Tommo, whilst in the trenches, takes us on a journey through his most cherished memories and tells his story of courage, devotion, family and friendship on what may be his last night on earth.

Husband and wife duo
The play is directed by husband and wife duo Amy and Dan Burns.

They use projection and technical elements to transform the audience from the Devon countryside to the horrors of the trenches.
