Readers may remember the piece we did last week about a new initiative to help babies in Neo Natal Intensive Care units (NICU).
The Pop ‘N’ Grow team are now looking into fundraising ideas in order to support the initiative and have planned a sponsored sea dip.
They’re inviting us all to “Freeze our bits off to keep babies warm :)”.
The sponsored sea dip takes place on 3rd December between 12pm-3pm and there’ll be hot drinks provided free of charge to the swimmers.
Organiser, Paula Smith says, “The swim will start by the pier and go to the next groin (it’s not far) you don’t have to swim, you can walk it or run it, surf it, kite surf it or kayak it what ever way as long as everyone gets in!”
Don’t forget your towels.
