Earth Spirit Crystals, founded in February 2013, is the latest company to get on board with the new look Island Speedway management team. The company which provides a wide range of Crystals, Jewellery and New Age Products is under the directorship of Annemarie Cowley who has extensive experience as a Licensed Bowen Practitioner and very gifted and talented Sekhem Master and Reiki Master Teacher.

Island Speedway’s Commercial Director Barry Bishop said,

“I became a huge fan of Reiki after my cousin who is a Reiki Master suggested I try her treatments for back pain that I had endured for a long time. It worked for me and I am extremely pleased to welcome Earth Spirit Crystals to the Island Speedway team.

“I am sure that along with the school and team sponsorship of various speedway related items we will maximise the skills and advice of Annemarie and her team moving forward.”

Annemarie told Barry about her interest in the project saying,

“As a family we have been interested in Speedway on and off over the past 15 years, although we took a much greater involvement through sponsorship following the re-opening of Leicester in 2011. Our particular interest has been to try and support some Junior riders, and it has given us so much satisfaction to see them progress into League Racing. Knowing the excellent work that has been done with the Academy, and the desire of My First Skid to promote the Academy on the Island, we felt it would be a good way of raising our profile, and giving something tangible to support the future of British Speedway at grass roots level.”

Earth Spirit Crystal’s shop now carries a massive range of items (see attached photo), that can be seen in full on their website plus two treatment rooms and a large workshop for holistic and beauty treatments.

With national and international recognition the Centre has attracted renowned speakers and holds a monthly Mind, Body and Spirit fair.
