It won't be the members of the Isle of Wight Conservative Association making the decision of who will be selected as prospective parliamentary candidate in the general election, just the Executive, but even that decision is now delayed.
The 2017 general election was called by Theresa May for 8th June 2017.
The Isle of Wight saw six people stand as prospective parliamentary candidates:
Nicholas Belfitt – Liberal Democrat
Julian Critchley – Labour
Julie Jones-Evans – Independent
Vix Lowthion – Green
Daryll Pitcher – UKIP
Bob Seely – Conservative
