Beachgoers are being urged to keep well clear of unstable cliffs following a cliff fall on the Isle of Wight.
Emergency services, including Coastguard teams, police and firefighters, attended Yaverland beach on Thursday afternoon to check the scene and ensure no-one was trapped or injured.
Landslide location
The fall took place on the stretch of beach between Sandown and Culver Down.

Visitors to the area have been reminded by the Coastguard to take extra care, keeping away from both the top and base of the cliffs.
Safety warning
A spokesperson from HM Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team said:
“The cliffs are unstable, particularly after heavy rain and very dry weather – rocks can fall at any time.”
The warning follows a series of incidents across the Island in recent years where shifting ground and changing weather conditions have caused cliff falls.
