Experience the magic of Wolverton Folk and Blues Fair 2023: Family fun, real ale and top live performances

A day long Festival of Folk and Blues set in the stunning grounds of Wolverton Manor, Shorwell, Isle of Wight on Saturday 13th May 2023. 11.30am to 8pm.

From the successful launch in 2011, the family friendly festival has been gaining momentum with fantastic bands/artists each year along with locally produced food, children’s activities, tea tent and not forgetting the Real Ale tent.

Special guest artists at Wolverton Folk and Blues this year include….

  • London’s Premier Jump-Blues/Swing Band JUMP66 (pictured at top)
  • Award winning UK Folk stars THE SHACKLETON TRIO
  • British Blues Supremo THE ROBIN BIBI BAND

As well as the Main Stage, the popular ‘Beer Tent Acoustic Stage’ will make a welcome return providing a full and varied programme, featuring some of the best Folk and Blues musicians the Isle of Wight has to offer.

Other Bands/Artists confirmed include: Grizzly and The Grasshoppers, The Crew, The Bohemians, Amy Joliffe, The Purple Emperors, Red Sqwrl, Wight Ukers, Bexter, Julie Jones, Feck!, All Washed Up, Moonshine Border Morris plus more to be announced.

Lots on offer
With an IW real ale beer tent, Tea Tent, Bar-be-que, children’s activities, craft stalls and Morris Dancing, The Wolverton Folk and Blues Fair is set to be a great opportunity to enjoy top live music and great festival food, set against the backdrop of the beautiful West Wight scenery.

In aid of Leukaemia Research/Cancer Support and Brighstone School.
