TRACY MIKICH AND JULIE JONES-EVANS

Get into the spirit of the season with Boojum and Snark’s events this month

There are loads of events to get you into the festive spirit at Sandown’s Boojum and Snark this month.

This Thursday (15th December), TIS Tales returns for a mesmerising evening of storytelling.

Lost in the frozen north, a hunter manages to catch a strange, white bear and decides to take it home to the king.

This begins a journey filled with kind strangers, mischievous creatures, mistaken identities and wonderful wintry tales.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30 pm start. The storytelling will last approximately an hour and a half, including a short interval. Tickets are priced at £6 each, booking in advance required.

Stoutmas, Darkest Days, Darkest Beers
Friday 16th December sees the return of Boojum’s popular Stoutmas event.

Join the team for a weekend of dark beers, including their Twelve Grains porter, Imperial Raven Holiday, Dark Chocolate stout and a fruity Black IPA. On Sunday they have an extra treat with live Christmas folk music from Ben Allman.

Opening times are 12pm to 10pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with live music from Ben between 7-9pm. No need to book, places subject to availability.

Pre-Christmas
Boojum and Snark will be open between 4pm-10pm on Friday 23rd December.

They’ll be open again between 2pm and 8pm on Christmas Eve.
