The average A-level grade has improved to a C from a C- last year – and the average points score derived from the grades students have achieved has gone up significantly from 25.7 to 29.3.
Results are better than last year, with the progress for A Levels expected to be in line with national and the progress of our students who took applied qualifications to be well above national.
The Head Master said this year marks the end of a period of significant change at A-Level which makes many of these achievements, the combined work of pupils and staff, the more impressive.
