After a challenging period for the school, Cllr Brading said the future of education at the school looked bright and praised the “dynamic leadership”.
Christ the King College was formed in 2008 by the merging of two Isle of Wight faith schools, Archbishop King and Trinity Middle.
Located in Carisbrooke, it formed its own Sixth Form in December 2013.
